Lady Lions play strong, win out in three sets

The Halifax County Middle School volleyball turned in another strong performance Tuesday, winning three of three sets against Prince Edward Middle School.

HCMS won the first game, 25-6, the second 27-22 and the third, 20-8.

For the first set, Olivia Noblin had three good serves and nine assists. Katie Cole had five good serves, including one ace. Calli Neal had three assists.

Aliyah Chandler had seven good serves, including one ace, and one kill. Carol Fears had six good serves.

For the second set, Leigh-Anne McCormick had one good serve and eight assists. Olivia Noblin had six good serves and ten assists. Savanna Cabaniss had one good serve. Katie Cole had one good serve and three assists. Brittany Clark had one kill. Calli Neal had four assists. Aliyah Chandler had five good serves, one kill, and one assist. Sierra Nunn had six good serves, two kills, and one assist. Carol Fears had two good serves.

For the third set, Olivia Noblin had seven good serves and six assists. Katie Cole had one good serve. Calli Neal had three assists. Aliyah Chandler had eleven good serves, including two aces. Sierra Nunn had three good serves, including one ace, and three kills.

The ladies only missed eight serves out of 73 total serves.
