Lady Lions sweep Martinsville / April 17, 2017
Halifax County Middle School softball has now built a 14-0 mark in the regular season, following a sweep of Martinsville.

The Lady Lions beat Martinsville, 18-0 and 16-0.

Coach James Smith said the Lions are hitting the ball well.

Halifax is finished with its regular season. The Lions girls are headed to Richmond for a middle school tournament against better competition on Friday and Saturday.

From there, the Lions start their Piedmont Junior District tournament.
