Lady Lions take out Amelia in volleyball

The Halifax County Middle School volleyball team downed Amelia, three games to none, in a road win Wednesday.

The Lions prevailed, 25-15, 25-23 and 25-17.

In the first set, Olivia Noblin had eight good serves and four assists.

Katie Cole had one good serve. Brittany Clark had one good serve. Calli Neal had five assists. Aliyah Chandler had four good serves, one kill, and one assist. Sierra Nunn had three good serves and one kill. Carol Fears had four good serves.

In second set action, Leigh-Anne McCormick had one good serve and one assist. Olivia Noblin had three good serves and four assists. Savanna Cabaniss had one good serve. Katie Cole had six good serves, including one ace, and one assist. Calli Neal had three good serves and five assists. Aliyah Chandler had three good serves, including one ace. Sierra Nunn had four good serves, including one ace, and two kills.

In the third set Olivia Noblin had four good serves and three assists. Katie Cole had one good serve and two assists. Calli Neal had one good serve and three assists.
