Lady Lions take two from Wyatt

The Halifax County Middle School Lion softball team took two games from Wyatt Wednesday, winning by scores of 8-0 and 8-1.

Halifax got a shutout from Michaela Farson, as she fanned eight.

Amber Moore provided a real spark, scoring three times. She had a single and a triple.

Farson also singled and scored twice. Mackenzie Lawter singled and tripled and scored once.

Halifax also won by an 8-1 count, as Amber Moore struck out eight. Haley Wooding singled twice, walked and scored twice. Katie Cole tripled and singled and scored twice.

Anna Clowdis singled and scored twice.

The Lions are 4-0 in the conference.
