Lady Trojans soccer takes second loss of season / April 11, 2018

On Monday, the Lady Trojan soccer team traveled to Collinsville, to take on the Cavaliers of Fieldale-Collinsville. Bluestone dropped the matchup, 2-0.

The home team scored in the third minute of the game to make the score 1-0. FDCV scored again in the 24th minute to up the score to 2-0.

Second half play left both teams scoreless as Bluestone’s offense couldn’t get past their opposition to find the back of net and their defense held their ground against the Cavaliers.

Hannah Presgraves had several great saves in the goal in the second half and was credited with 10 saves for the game.

Bluestone’s 2-0 loss drops their record to 4-2-1 in the Junior Piedmont District.
