Bluestone Middle School girls basketball continued to add some backbone to their 5-1 Southside Middle School basketball record, knocking off both Cumberland 38-12 and Nottoway 38-16 in recent days.

In the team’s road win over Cumberland, Makayla Mason scored nine. She was followed by Tyra Dennis with eight, Jalan Dailey with seven, Kaliyah Hargrove with six, and Xzareyah Tucker and Madison Mangum with four points each.

Dailey had 12 points in the win for Bluestone. Bluestone host cross-county rival Park View Middle today with the girls starting at 5:45 p.m.
