Lions bounce back from loss to beat Fieldale-Collinsville / September 11, 2017
The Halifax County Middle School football team enjoyed a lopsided win over Fieldale-Collinsville Thursday at home.

The Lions bounced back from a frustrating loss to Franklin County with a 32-0 win over FC.

Halifax showed resiliency and an improved focus in the second half, according to coach LeVar Medley.

The team had a much stronger second half, with a major push in the second half, with more energy, drive and attention to the overall game plan after a sluggish first half.

Medley and the Lions celebrated the first win of the season, after there were some bitter feelings from the loss to Franklin.

The defense provided leadership, and the Lion offense had a variety of contributors, including Saeed Buster and Mykyler Smalls.
