Lions lose

South Boston News
Levi-Lee Smith battles for the ball in Wednesday’s HCMS boys soccer game against Fieldale-Collinsville. The Lions lost 2-1. The Lions got their lone goal from Colin Gravitt. Keeper John Louden had 11 saves to help keep this very competitive. “Tonight was a nail biter and the game didn’t fall our way. I told my guys tonight that we just have to keep practicing and playing harder. Giving up is not in the players’ blood and that’s what I love the most about them. Right now we can’t be worried about the wins and losses on our end or the opponents, we have to keep playing the best we can be and let the scoreboard take care of itself,” said Lion coach Kwame Lambert. / March 18, 2019
