Lions sweep Patrick County in volleyball / September 21, 2017

Halifax County Middle School volleyball continues to show improvement, winning the match Tuesday against Patrick County in two sets, 25-12 and 25-23.

“Patrick County is a highly competitive, well coacheda team. We played better as a unit during the first set than in the second. Our serves and communication suffered in the 2nd set; however, we were able to persevere coming from an 11-3 deficit at one time to come out on top in a very close win. We have some improvements to make before we go on the road to face Ben Franklin,” coach Reagan Cannon said.
