Halifax County Middle School volleyball had multiple contributors in its Junior Piedmont District tournament volleyball win over Laurel Park last week.

The Lions won a very competitive match, 2-0.

Service Points leaders, Arissa Conner (10), Trinity Martin 8, Madison Barnes 8, Sarah Watts 5, Jadyn Harlow 4 Shamya Hankins 3.

Martin led in aces with five, Conner 3, Harlow 2 Hankins 1, Barnes 1.

Martin also led in kills with six, followed by Hankins 3, Harlow 3, Barnes 2, Watts 1, Kylie Satterfield 1.

Assists: Watts 6, Conner 4;

Digs: Martin 5, Barnes 3, Haley Duffer 1, Conner 1, Harlow 1.

Blocks: Barnes 2, Harlow 1.
