South Hill’s Keldon Johnson, a rookie member of the NBA San Antonio Spurs, gave back to his hometown last week with a donation to the Bread Box Food Pantry. Johnson is playing ball so his mother, Rochelle, made presentation to pantry director Dana Debaets. Terence Tarrer lent an important helping hand by putting all the logistics in place for the donation.In Johnson’s first season with the Spurs after being selected in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft, he appeared in the team’s final nine games before play was suspended in March.
