O-Zone action begins Friday

The Dixie Youth district 2 O-Zone baseball tournament begins Friday night at the Day Complex.

Opening ceremonies are set for 6 p.m.

The first game is set for 6:30 p.m., with South Boston National meeting South Boston American.

Only three teams are involved, so there is one game per night.

Saturday’s schedule features a game two matchup between South Boston American and Scottsburg. Saturday’s game starts at 7 p.m.

Sunday’ game three, features South Boston National vs. Scottsburg, at 7 p.m.

After Sunday’s action, if there are three teams remaining with one loss, a drawing will be held for the bye to game five. The other two teams will play game four Monday at 7 p.m.

If only two teams remain after Sunday, they will play game four Monday and game five Tuesday, if necessary.
