Park View football postponed as team quarantines / September 29, 2021

The Park View football team was set to travel to Southampton on Friday night to open Tri-Rivers District play against the Indians. But like many teams in the area, the Dragons have suffered a possible exposure to COVID-19 and though there were no positive cases on the team at the time, the decision was made to quarantine the team for two weeks.

According to Park View Athletic Director Mike Barmoy, there will be an attempt to reschedule the games, “but if we can’t they will be recorded as no contests and we won’t forfeit them.”

The pause for COVID-19 safety measures also affects the scheduled game Friday, when the Dragons were set to host Franklin.
