Park View golfers place second in Tri-Rivers District outing / August 28, 2019
The Park View golf team finished second in their match against a host of Tri-Rivers District teams at Cypress Cove Golf Course Aug. 13.

Park View was led by junior Jackson Moseley, who carded a match low score of 2-over par 38 and won match medalist honors for his effort. Kelsey Moseley carded 45 for the Dragons as the team scored a total of 192 strokes. Jordan Ingram (54), Christian Ingram (55) and Nate Jones (58) rounded out the team score.

Southampton won the match with a team score of 170. Coming in third was Windsor at 224, followed by Surry with 272. The Sussex Central and Franklin teams failed to post a score due to too few qualified players.

The Dragons were scheduled to host a Tri-Rivers District match at South Hill Country Club Aug. 22 but lightning from a nearby thunderstorm forced a postponement. That match is scheduled to be made up on Thursday at noon when the teams will play two nine-hole matches back-to-back.
