Park View kicks off season against Colonial Heights March 13 / February 28, 2018

After a winter of anticipation, the anxiety of try-outs and agony of conditioning, the 2018 Park View Dragon baseball season is set to commence. After a scrimmage on March 1 at Lakeland High School in Suffolk, the Dragons kick off regular season action at home March 13 versus Colonial Heights at 5:00 p.m. Tentatively the schedule looks like this:

Park View will be anchored by a strong cohort of returning players: Reid Piercy playing shortstop, Hunter Sykes roaming the outfield and pitching, and Cameron Pearce fulfilling a similar role. Boone Gosney will catch and provide a big bat, Cameron Sheets will play first base and third base and provide a big bat on offense, Isaiah Thompson will roam the outfield and provide plenty of speed pinch running, while Herbie Burgart will also catch and act as a utility infielder.
