Park View’s Walker named to All-State 3A softball team

Taylor Walker of the Park View High School softball team has been named to the VHSL All-State 3A Softball first team as a DP-flex player. Walker, who was senior this season, graduated just a few weeks ago.

Park View finished 11-2 in Tri-Rivers District, 14-4 overall. Park View's season ended in a 1-0 loss in the quarterfinal round of the 3A East Regional to York.

The team also had several players to earn All-Conference 25 honors.

Walker was named All-Conference as a utility player, and pitcher Kirsten Bailey and centerfielder Camden Powers were named to the first team.

Madison Cliborne, at first base, and left fielder Hannah Bailey were named to the All-Conference 25 second team.

Honorable mention selections were Ashley Roberts (catcher), Emma Jo Wolfe (shortstop/pitcher) and third baseman Alyssa Berryman.
