The JRD match was the first of the season for the girls and they played well. Bluestone’s Hite Jones got the Lady Barons on the scoreboard 23:28 into the match, scoring off an assist from Ashlyn Knott. Jones ripped another goal at the 38-minute mark for a 2-0 halftime lead for the BHS girls.

Both teams turned up their play in the second half of the match. PE came out and with 54 ticks off the clock posted its first goal.

At the 9:24 mark, PE scored to tie the match at 2-2. PE took the 3-2 lead 11:24 into the second.

Strider answered with a goal at the 24:24 mark to knot the score at 3-3. Approximately three minutes later, Bluestone’s Knott added a goal off an assist from A.T. Williamson for the 4-3 lead.
