Presto/Halifax County shades Dollar General in Industrial action

Presto/Halifax County narrowly defeated Dollar General, 46-41, in last week’s action in the Business and Industrial league.

The winners got 15 points from Savaughn Bailey and 14 from Eric Pounds. Brandon Boyd had 18 for the losing team.

In other action:

Benchmark edged Goodyear, 54-51. Benchmark had some balanced scoring and got 14 points from Johnny Wilson, 13 from Geoff Grant and 12 from Rodney Mosley. Larry Warren led Goodyear with 10.

United Steps/Felton Bros. defeated ABB, 57-48. Niven Barksdale led the winners with 17 and Aaron Hill had 14.

Jonathan Fields led ABB with 16.

Halifax Regional downed AW, 49-33. The winners got 16 from Demetrius Burrell and 12 from Alex Gambino. AW got 13 from Lymon Gregory.

South Boston Tees defeated Dollar General/Unarco, 53-42. Robert Ross led the way for the winners with 19 points and Tyrone Barksdale led the losing team with 18.
