Rosche earns first team soccer honors / May 25, 2009
Sarah Rosche of HCHS was the lone Comet to earn first team all-district honors for girls’ soccer, while two more HCHS performers earned second team honors.

S. Rosche, a senior, made the first team at the forward position. Megan Rosche and Nia Brown were selected to the second team. M. Rosche is a senior defender and Brown is a junior goalie.

HCHS had seven soccer players selected to the honorable mention squad, including C.A. Nichols, Kelsey Thompson, Liz Stanger, Emarie Skelton, Wishee Marable, McCoy Newton and Jaynee Campbell.

PH’s Kate Norbo was player of the year and Glass’ Darien McClurg was coach of the year.
