Scottsburg rolls to machine pitch title

The Scottsburg Dixie Youth Machine pitch squad rolled to the district 2 title Tuesday night in Clarksville.

Playing in Clarksville, Scottsburg downed South Boston, 21-6, in the finals. That lopsided win gave Scottsburg a 5-0 mark in the tournament.

Trevor Hazelwood, Adam Seamster and Cameron Carson emerged as the hitting leaders in this postseason tournament.

Scottsburg had just four strikeouts in the tournament. Scottsburg outscored its opponents, 92-21, in the five-game run.
