Season comes to end for Dragons in playoffs / May 27, 2015

The Park View Dragons saw their baseball season come to an end Monday with a heartbreaking loss in the conference playoffs to Southampton, 11-0.

Against the sixth-seed Indians, third-ranked Park View simply could not get their act together, between numerous errors and men left on base. Brett Cliborne started out on the mound but after a couple wild pitches in the second inning, Bubba Gosney took over. Tommy Spence went to the ground with a hurt shoulder after chasing a ball hit far to the back of center field.

Southampton took a large lead, unanswered by the PV offense, and Park View’s season came to end when the last batter struck out.
