SoVaNow.com / July 23, 2014
Get ready for hard-driving, fast-paced pulling action at the second annual Halifax County Truck and Tractor Pull Saturday, July 26 at the Halifax County Fairgrounds.

These trucks, with 1,800 horsepower engines and twin turbos, put on a first class show up and down the east cost from the Tidewater area of Virginia to Eastern North Carolina, as well as Richmond, Winchester and Maryland.

The action starts at 7 p.m. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and spectators are encouraged to bring a lawn chair since bleacher seating is limited.

Tickets are $15 for adults and children 12 years old or older. Admission for children under 12 is $5. Food concessions will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
