Comets get GW at home for regional opener





Volleyball begins tournament play tonight / October 24, 2019
The Halifax County High School varsity volleyball team starts Piedmont District tournament action tonight at Patrick County at 6 p.m.

Halifax defeated GW-Danville Tuesday night. The Comets are the no. 5 seed in the upcoming tournament. Patrick is the fourth seed.

Tunstall is the top seed.

If the Comets win tonight, they move on to Tunstall Monday.

Halifax volleyball, like all Comet teams this year, has earned a regional berth. If the Comet spikers lose, they await the start of Class 4 Region D action on Nov. 5.
