Wins keep coming for Lady Baron kickers

The Bluestone varsity girls soccer team continued their winning ways, traveling to Farmville last week and defeating the Prince Edward Lady Eagles 7-1.

The win moves Bluestone to 6-2 in the James River District, one game behind first place Goochland in the standings.

In Bluestone’s over the Eagles, Prince Edward scored the first goal 13:42 into the match.

Bluestone responded with a goal by Jasmine Brown 26:50 in. Anne-Taylor Williamson found the net on an assist from Ashlyn Knott at the 37:17 mark. The score at the half was 2-1 Bluestone.

April Newton found the net first in the second half, 9:08 minutes in. Williamson scored at the 12:37 mark off an assist from Saadyah Shamburger and again at the 22:07 mark completing her third “Hat Trick” of the season.

Charlotte Bradshaw posted a score at the 31:13 mark. The last goal of the match was scored by April Newton at the 35:17 mark for the 7-1 win.
