Wright, Moore lead Park View All-District volleyball selections

SoVaNow.com / November 14, 2012
Two members of the Park View varsity volleyball team — Dare Wright, a junior, and Kassidy Moore, a senior — were named to the All-Southside District first team this week.

Wright, a middle hitter, and Moore, an outside hitter, led a contingent of five Lady Dragons who received All-District honors. Named to the second team were Haley King and Brooke Mason, both freshmen. Mason made the team as a server, King as an outside hitter.

Lindsey Townsend, a junior middle hitter for Park View, was named to the Honorable Mention squad.

Southampton’s Madeline Kahle, a junior, snagged Player of the Year honors in the Southside District, while Prince Edward coach Bruce Bogese was named Coach of the Year.
