Lady Lions drop Nottoway

The Lady Lions volleyball team won its match Tuesday against the Nottoway Middle School Wildcats 3-0. Game scores were 25-13, 25-12 and 15-13. “The team came out ready to play against Nottoway. Game one showed good serving and once the girls settled down, their passes became more controlled,” said coach Jennifer Trent.

Lions take win over Bluestone

The HCMS soccer team is now 5-3 overall after its most recent action. The Lions won Tuesday night at Bluestone, 4-1. Halifax got two goals from Colin Kashmer and one from Tyler Garner, all in the first half.
