Lion gridders improve to 5-0

The HCMS football team is now 5-0 overall, following a 34-6 win over Prince Edward last Wednesday. The Lion defense stepped up, as Travis Littles had 5 tackles. Tyler Stephens had 6 tackles. Jerry Lennon had 5 tackles and a fumble recovery.

Lions remain unbeaten

The unbeaten HCMS football team rolled to a 44-20 win over Lunenburg Wednesday night. It’s the first conference win for the Lions, now 3-0 overall.

Lions topple FC

This should give Comet football fans hope for the future. The HCMS football team earned a significant victory, downing Franklin County, 30-16, Wednesday.

Lions edge GW 16-14

The HCMS Lions edged GW-Danville, 16-14, for their first win of the season Wednesday night. The Lions found themselves behind on GW’s first play from scrimmage when the Eagles connected on a 70 yd TD pass to lead 6-0.
