Late model racing at South Boston Speedway proved a snoozefest much of Saturday night, with Matt Bowling dominating the action. That’s how it played out, most of the night.
J.D. Eversole seized the lead on the first lap and later powered past Daryn Cockram in a final 13-lap sprint to the finish to win the 50-lap limited sportsman feature at South Boston Speedway Saturday night.
Racing begins at 7 p.m., and will feature five events, highlighted by a 150-lap shootout for the drivers in the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Car Division.
