The Bluestone Barons struck for three runs in the sixth inning to complete a comeback 8-7 victory over arch-rival Park View on Thursday and solidify a spot in the Southside District postseason tournament.

The Bluestone Barons swept three games last week against district foes Brunswick and Prince Edward to even their season record at 8-8 and boost their fortunes as the Southside District tournament draws near.

Aside from their matchup with Park View, the Barons played one other game last week, prevailing over Nottoway, 6-4, on Thursday.
