The Park View Dragons varsity soccer team fell to the Powhatan High School Indians 2-0 in the championship round of the Southside District Tournament last Thursday evening in Powhatan.

The Park View Dragons finished their regular season by defeating Brunswick High School, 8-6 Friday night although they lost to the league leading Powhatan Indians, 7-1, in an away game on Thursday.

The Barons and Dragons boys and girls soccer teams squared off at Bluestone last week in a pair of hard-fought games. In boys action, Park View scratched out a 2-1 win.. The Bluestone Barons struck for three runs in the sixth inning to complete a comeback 8-7 victory over arch-rival Park View on Thursday and solidify a spot in the Southside District postseason tournament.
