Dragons spoil Prince Edward homecoming with 40-26 win

If the Prince Edward County High School football team was still looking for its first win of the season in last Friday night’s 40-26 homecoming loss to Park View, the Eagles may have viewed the game as a step in the right direction.

The Park View varsity volleyball team weathered a rocky stretch last week as the Dragons girls dropped matches to Southside District rivals Southampton and Prince Edward.

Dragons hit speed bump, lose 41-13 to Southampton

Park View’s rise on the football gridiron was rudely interrupted Friday night by a lightning quick group of Southampton Indians, winners of a 41-13 rout at SHHS.

Dragon golfers second in district; team members qualify for regionals

The Park View golf team finished second in the Southside District end-of-season tournament Monday at South Hill Country Club, just missing out on a district championship behind winner Southampton.

The Park View Dragons made a statement Friday by stomping the Group AAA Colonial Heights Colonials, who entered the game with a solid reputation, a talented quarterback and no idea what awaited them at Dragon Stadium.
