Lady Barons swept in three matches this week

The Bluestone Senior High varsity volleyball team had a busy week of traveling this week, playing Randolph-Henry, Halifax and Southhampton. The Baron ladies lost in four games to Randolph Henry on Monday, 25-22, 25-23, 25-15, 25-18.

Despite giving their Group AAA rivals a stern test, the Bluestone varsity volleyball girls lost their second game of the season Thursday to Halifax County High School, 25-16, 26-24 and 25-23.

The Barons and Dragons boys and girls soccer teams squared off at Bluestone last week in a pair of hard-fought games. In boys action, Park View scratched out a 2-1 win..
