The Bluestone Senior High School volleyball team split two matches last week, losing to Southside District powerhouse Powhatan but ending the week on a high note by beating archrival Park View.

Lady Trojans volleyball 3-1 on season

The Bluestone Middle School Trojans volleyball team won their third straight match against Amelia in action Tuesday afternoon at Bluestone. The Lady Trojans are now 3-1 for the season.

The Park View High School varsity volleyball team scored a pair of victories in Southside District action last week, thumping Greensville and Nottoway to jump out to a 3-0 record in league play.

First year head soccer coaches Jonathan Wells and Marty Bowlin have started the year off on a good note at Bluestone Middle School. The team has played four games up to this point in the season and is undefeated with one tie.
