Barons bounce back to vanquish Nottoway, 6-4

Aside from their matchup with Park View, the Barons played one other game last week, prevailing over Nottoway, 6-4, on Thursday.

Early in the week on Tuesday they downed their Greensville opponents, 12-1, taking their first win of the season on home turf. Elizabeth Ezell was the winning pitcher, striking out six batters while giving up only two hits.

The Bluestone varsity baseball team scored a convincing 6-1 win over Southampton last Tuesday, but the Barons also found themselves on the wrong end of the scoreboard last week as they lost at Powhatan 17-2 on Thursday.
