The Halifax County High School Girl’s tennis team fell to visiting Patrick Henry by a 2-9 score. It was a disappointing loss for the Comets as it dropped them to third place in the Western Valley District. The Comets were very competitive in all of the matches but were able to score wins only at number one and three doubles.

Comets edged by Franklin County in soccer

Franklin County edged Halifax County, 4-3, in boys’ varsity soccer action in Rocky Mount Tuesday.

Girls soccer shut out by Franklin County

The Halifax County High School varsity girls’ soccer team fell to a strong Franklin County team, 7-0, on Tuesday.
