A hobbled Park View girls’ varsity basketball squad fell to Person County in the first round of the Halifax Holiday Classic Tuesday, 45-22.

Dragons edge Prince Edward, improve to 4-0

The Park View Dragons downed the Prince Edward varsity boys basketball team 63-58 in the Southside District opener for both teams in Farmville last Wednesday night.

Park View jayvees crushed by Eagles

The jayvee Dragons from Park View welcomed the visiting Prince Edward County Eagles on Wednesday. The Dragons seemed eager to defend their home court. However, costly turnovers and the inability to consistently find ways to score led to the biggest defeat of the season for Park View as they fell in a 25 point blowout to the Eagles.

Dragons rout Central, raise mark to 3-0

The Park View Dragons upped their early season record to 3-0 after thrashing the Central of Lunenburg Chargers 80-41 in Victoria Friday night.

Dragon girls defeat Central, 55-49

The dynamic duo of Jasmine Smith and Maleesa Clary proved to be too much for the visiting Lady Chargers of Lunenburg to handle Friday night as the Park View girls varsity girls edged Central, 55-49.
