Sunday, call to worship was “Open Your Heart” by the choir at HBC. Reverend Mike Riley read the announcements and welcomed everyone. Canadian textile firm to locate in Mecklenburg County
Régitex USA LLC, a manufacturer of made-to-order ring spun and open end yarns, will invest $1.5 million to open a manufacturing operation in Mecklenburg County. The company will acquire and upgrade an existing textile plant, creating 60 new jobs.

‘Sessions’ to be performed at Guild Aug. 7, 8
As part of the Convergence Art Guild’s “Summer Trilogy” of short, one-act plays that will be presented on Aug. 7 and 8 will be “Sessions”, a drama authored by Jack and Julia Peachum of Clarksville.
