Halifax moves forward with hybrid school plan, despite parent protests

With Halifax County’s back-to-school date now officially set for Sept. 8, administrators and School Board trustees are sticking to plans to offer a mix of classroom and at-home instruction for most students, despite pleas by some parents for a more normal experience.
