$1 million lottery ticket sold in South Boston


One of three winning tickets in Virginia Lottery’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle was sold in South Boston. The winner of the $1 million ticket, sold at Sheetz, has yet to be announced.

The $1 million winners are:
Ticket #051366 (bought at 7-Eleven, 3963 George Washington Highway, Hayes)
Ticket #075485 (bought at Sheetz, 1007 Philpott Road, South Boston)
Ticket #220212 (bought at Olivers Grocery, 1328 Holland Road, Suffolk)

In addition to the million dollar winners, six lottery players are holding tickets worth $25,000 each. The tickets were sold at retail locations in Hampton, Norfolk, Arlington, Chesapeake and Yorktown.

Another 300 tickets each win $500. Those numbers are now posted at the Virginia Lottery’s website: www.valottery.com. Players can also call the Virginia Lottery Player Information Line at 804-662-LUCK. The winning numbers were drawn by the Virginia Lottery on New Year’s Day.
