Come join the fun Saturday in Clarksville

Wine Festival is back for 16th year

Come join the 16th annual celebration of the Lake Country Wine Festival in downtown Clarksville Saturday,  from noon-5 p.m. on the lawn of The Delicate Flower bed and breakfast inn, at 617 Virginia Avenue.

Long one of the most popular wine festivals in the area, the Lake Country Wine Festival offers an afternoon of relaxation, fellowship, music, wine, craft beers and great food offerings. Ten Virginia wineries will be taking part in this year’s festival, with live music by the Premiere Trio and The Tobacco Road Band.

Local restaurants will be offering food items and guests can enjoy shopping at local stores and from hand-selected artisans and vendors. Limited seating is available but feel free to bring your own lawn chair if you like. This is a 21 and older event; no strollers, large coolers, no pets (assistance dogs only) or children beyond the gate.

There will be more than 10 vendors just outside the gate that anyone is welcome to stop and shop.

While enjoying Virginia’s only lakeside town, take a stroll and visit the unique one-of-a-kind downtown shops and restaurants. Virginia Avenue from 6th to 7th Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the wine festival. Handicap parking will be available at Touchstone Bank, across the side street from The Delicate Flower.

Tickets are available until the event sells out.
