Lady Lions have competitive game against Laurel Park

The Halifax County Middle School girls basketball team had a more competitive game against Laurel Park, but the Lions still prevailed.

Halifax won, 44-25. Kamyria Woody-Giggetts scored 20 points and had a strong final period. She scored 10 in the fourth quarter.

Shamya Hankins scored 13 for the Lions.

Halifax sank eight field goals and added one trey from MaJaysha Claiborne.

The Lions went five-for-nine from the foul line.
