MDA is a national voluntary health agency aimed at conquering 43 neuromuscular diseases that affect over a million Americans. MDA combats these diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive local services and far-reaching professional and public health education. MDA seeks no government grants, United Way funds or fees from patients or their families – enabling those receiving aid from the organization to do so free of charge.

All donations stay local to help fund the Association’s research projects, comprehensive health care and support services, and week-long summer camps for youngsters. For more information about MDA or its programs visit www.mda.org
