Body found in Mecklenburg County pond identified as Taylor / September 13, 2010
The body found on Sept. 4 in a pond on Trinity Church Road has been positively identified as that of Jeremiah Taylor, of South Hill.

The Medical Examiner’s Office, in Richmond, had positively identified the remains to be those of Taylor.

Taylor’s body was found on Saturday, Sept. 4 by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team after being reported by a local fisherman.

The remains were found in a 1995 Isuzu S.U.V. The S.U.V. is the same vehicle that was also reported missing along with Taylor on July 24, by his family.

The complete autopsy will not be available for several weeks.
