Route 360 Jiffy Store hit by armed robbers

South Boston Police Department officers responded to the Jiffy Store located on John Randolph Boulevard for a report of an armed robbery on Thursday night, March 5. According to a report from Sgt. F.M. Edmunds the call for assistance came in at 10:42 p.m.
Captain B.K. Lovelace stated that two individuals entered the store displaying a long barrel rifle and demanding money from the store employee. Lovelace said the men left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
The two were described as two black males wearing dark colored hooded jackets with bandannas covering their faces.
Lovelace said Sgt. R.E. Redd is leading the investigation, and if citizens have any information pertaining to this crime or any other crime they can call Crime Stoppers at (434) 575-4273. Citizens will remain anonymous and could receive up to a $1000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the individuals(s) involved.
