Sleepiness blamed for Thursday night accident / September 15, 2010
A driver who apparently fell asleep and overturned a Dodge Durango in a ditch Thursday night was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He also was charged with reckless driving.

According to state police, Jason A. Meade, 25, of Mt. Pleasant Road in Chase City was driving on Wilkerson Road east of Route 92 shortly before 9 p.m. when he drove off the left side of the road and hit small tree. The Durango then struck a ditch on the right side of the road. The vehicle overturned.
