David Allen Seamster

David Allen Seamster, 31, of Scottsburg, died Friday, March 26, 2021. He was born in Halifax County on June 16, 1989, son of Gilbert Dwight Seamster and Mary Katherine Saperstein Adams. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Seamster is survived by his son, Trevor Seamster of Scottsburg; his fiancée, Tonya Penzer of Scottsburg; his father and step-mother, Dwight Seamster and wife Rosemary of Nathalie; his mother, Kathy Adams of Arizona; his siblings, Adam Dwight Seamster and wife Debbie of Chase City, Heather Dutchin and husband Michael of Japan, Kimberly Cooper of Hurt; and his paternal grandmother, Thelma Seamster of Nathalie.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer Clay Seamster, Maurice Saperstein, Daisy Saperstein and Dorothy Farries.

Graveside services will be held Friday, April 2, at 2 p.m. at Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, we recommend the wearing of facemask and to practice social distancing.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice.
