William Jasper Adams II, 60, of 7080 J. D. Hagood Highway, Scottsburg died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the home of his sister. He was born in Mecklenburg County on Dec. 7, 1950, son of the late William Jasper Adams Sr. and Alma Ruby Glasscock. He was marriage to Doris Adams, of Richmond, and was a member of HOGS Motorcycle Riders Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Christopher William Adams of Waynesboro; three sisters, Brenda A. Hinkle of Boydton, Catherine A. Fitts of Scottsburg and Cynthia Adams of Chase City; two grandchildren, Mike Fowler and Grace Adams; one step-daughter, Deborah Hamilton of Deltasville; two step-grandchildren, Bobby Critcher and Brittany Koris; one step-great-grandchild, Sydney Critcher, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held Saturday at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends, after the service, at 7080 J.D. Hagood Highway, Scottsburg.
