SoVaNow.com / May 05, 2021
The Park View jayvee baseball team took a 13-3 win Tuesday over Windsor, 13-3, as the Dragons under first year head coach Sam Sullivan played solid defense and lit up the batter’s box for the mercy rule win.

Park View opened with four runs in the first as Kwondrey Coleman, Jobe Sullivan, Jake Brame and Isaak Walton all scored. Windsor answered partially in the top of the second with one run, but Park View exploded for six runs in the bottom of the second as Sullivan, D’Andre Watson, Brame, Walton, Adam Jones and Matthew Lynch all scored.

The Dukes added one run in the third and another in the third but that was all they could muster as Park View lead 10-3.

Park View added two more runs in the fourth on a Windsor wild pitch, and Jobe Sullivan scored a run on another wild pitch in the sixth to put the Dragons up by 10 and end the game early.

Sullivan went two for four with a pair of singles and a walk, Jake Brame went three for four with a single, double and a triple, just missing on hitting for the cycle. Isaac Walton got a single, a double and drew a walk.
